| The
Fundraising Office at Dr. Kershaw’s Hospice has pleasure
in announcing their annual Light Up A Life campaign for Christmas
2013.
The
purpose of the scheme is twofold; firstly, it is a way in which
you can remember a loved one or friend, this does not have to be
someone who has passed away, anyone you wish can be nominated.
Secondly, it raises vital funds that allow the important work
and development of specialised services of the Hospice to continue.
So
how does it work? A large tree at the Hospice will be decorated
with lights, which can be individually dedicated and a card to commemorate the light will be sent to whoever you specify. The lights will be switched on
following a Carol Service on Sunday 1st December at 7.30pm and will
remain lit throughout Epiphany between the hours of 3pm and 11.30pm.
Your
continued support is very much appreciated by all the staff and
patients. Should you wish to take part in what we feel is an apt
way of remembering your loved ones and friends at Christmas please
click here to download a form and return
it to the Hospice.
Yours sincerely
